Invitation
The Organizing Committee invites you to take part in
4th International Conference "Fracture Mechanics of Materials and Structural Integrity",
which will be held from 23 to 27 June 2009 in Lviv, Ukraine
in Lviv Polytechnic National University (12 Bandera Street, Lviv, Ukraine).
In frame of conference the special session and round table devoted to actual problems on influence of hydrogen on fracture and strength of structural materials are planned. The 11th International Summer School on Fracture mechanics will be held as post-conference event.
Chairman of Organizing Committee
V. V. Panasyuk
Previous conferences of this series were also held in Lviv in 1987, 1999 and 2004 in which leading scientists from Great Britain, France, Germany, Russia, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia and other countries, including Ukrainian specialists took part.
Aims of the Conference are the exchange of scientific ideas and consideration of new fundamental and applied results that were received during last years in the fracture mechanics field; formation of the priority trends for further investigations of deforming, fracture and strength of materials and structures; development a general strategy and approaches for the solving of the problems of technical diagnostics and life-time assessment of the critical objects for the long-term exploitation (power generating units, trunk pipelines, bridges, buildings, manufacturing equipment and so on).
